Sponsor a Tree for Wonderland of Lights!

You can help support Potter Park Zoo and its mission of inspiring conservation of animals and the natural world this winter season! Looking for a unique outing with family, friends, or the work team while celebrating the season? Sponsor a tree at the zoo!

Enjoy an outing to the zoo by decorating your tree. Be creative! Many of our tree sponsors theme their decorations with their business or organization. Families enjoy the quality time decorating together too! Don’t want to decorate? You have the option to choose zoo staff to do the decorating for you.

Your tree will have a sign to show all guests your support and commitment to the community. This is a great opportunity for businesses to demonstrate their initiatives to the thousands of guests that attend annually.

“Decorating the trees has been a tradition for many of our supporters,” said Amy L. Morris-Hall, Society Executive Director. “We are happy to host Wonderland of Lights at the zoo and to be able to provide a safe, welcoming and socially-distanced event for the community.”

The trees will be on display during Wonderland of Lights, Nov. 21 – Dec.27, 2020 at Potter Park Zoo. After the event, the trees will be used as enrichment items for selected zoo animals.

We still have a few trees left if you are interested in sponsoring a tree in dedication to your business, family, friends, or loved ones. Click here to view the Trim-a-Tree form.

Completed forms can be emailed to eorourke@ingham.org or mailed to Potter Park Zoological Society, Attn: Trim-a-Tree, 1301 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Lansing, MI 48912

A BIG thank you to Tannenbaum Farms for helping the zoo get ready for our 26th annual Wonderland of Lights event with the beautiful trees.

P.S. – don’t throw out your old lights! We are kindly accepting donations of light strands for the zoo. Please contact Adrian Ramirez at aramirez@ingham.org to donate your lights today.
