Potter Park Zoo is pleased to welcome MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) as the inaugural donor to the Zoo’s new Species Sponsorship campaign.
Species Sponsorships allow donors to support the care and conservation of specific animals at the zoo—ranging from penguins and eagles to endangered toads. MSUFCU will support the Zoo’s popular and playful otters for the coming year, highlighting its Lansing SAVE program.
“The Species Sponsorship option provides a great opportunity for businesses or individuals to celebrate an animal they really love,” said Amy Morris-Hall, Executive Director of the Potter Park Zoological Society. “These sponsorships also provide great brand visibility for businesses and demonstrate a strong commitment to both conservation and our community.”
The sponsorship aligns with MSUFCU’s ongoing investment in Lansing’s youth through Lansing SAVE (Student Accounts Valuing Education)—a program created by the City of Lansing, the Lansing School District, and MSUFCU. Lansing SAVE helps students in the Lansing School District begin saving for future college or vocational school expenses, with support from both community and individual donations.
