It’s 2017 Volunteer and Docent Recruitment Time

From education to events, decorating to gardening, volunteering at Potter Park Zoo has something for everyone!

Potter Park Zoo staff does a great job, but did you know they are supported by over 200 hundred Docents, Volunteers and Teen Keepers?  These dedicated individuals lead education programs, answer questions at the exhibits, prepare enrichment for the animals, set-up and take-down for events, run activities at events, assist with gardens or in the office, and so much more!  You can see there are lots of ways to get involved at Potter Park Zoo!

Want to learn more?  Join us Saturday January 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the zoo for our Docent and Volunteer Recruitment Event.  You can meet current docents and volunteers, learn more about the opportunities and requirements of volunteering, fill-out and submit your application, and get all your questions answered.  Admission is free, so don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to get involved!
