It’s that time of year! We can’t wait for our visitors to experience the fun of Boo at the Zoo and be mesmerized by Wonderland of Lights.
Can you believe preparations have already begun for both of these events? Our team and volunteers are hard at work creating spooktacular fun for our favorite little ghouls and boys. Not to mention the thousands of lights that are being put up to create extraordinary animal exhibits and holiday displays.
Through our preparations, we’ve found that we’re in need of a few items. To make sure every one in their spookiest, scariest, or prettiest Halloween costumes gets candy, we’re asking for donations of unopened Halloween Candy for trick-or-treaters at Boo at the Zoo. All donations can be dropped off at the zoo!

– Halloween Candy
– Electrical Outlet splitters/adapters
– Grounded 3-prong outside extension cords
– Black electrical tape
– Paper leaf bags
– Any and all colored LED lights (string lights or flood lights) * can be new or used
– Black or clear zip-ties, all sizes
