World Migratory Bird Day & Be A Tourist in Your Own Town
June 6 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Welcome spring! World Migratory Bird Day celebrates the seasonal migration of millions of birds from their southern wintering grounds back to North America! Fun, family-friendly interactive stations throughout the zoo will share the importance of migratory birds. Activities provided by Potter Park Zoo and our partners including the US Fish and Wildlife Service and Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
World Migratory Bird Day is celebrated in conjunction with GLCVB’s “Be A Tourist In Your Own Town.” Parking is free and so is admission with a “Be A Tourist” passport, which can be purchased at the zoo and many other locations in the Lansing area. On the day of this event CATA has discounted rates and provides a special bus stop inside the zoo.
June 6 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Free with a “Be A Tourist” passport (passports just $1 each)
Regular admission prices apply without the “Be a Tourist” passport
