In honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, the animals will be in action reacting to paper-mache creations designed by Haslett’s Murphy Elementary fifth graders. Expect opportunities for natural behaviors like foraging and ripping.
Animal enrichment provides our animals with species-specific opportunities that encourage mental and physical activity and natural behaviors. It is good for the animals, and it allows us to glimpse some very interesting things.
Enrichment events are included with regular admission price. It’s a great time to see the animals at their most active. Photographers bring your camera for some great action photos!
