Since his birth in 2019, Jaali has inspired staff and visitors, brought notoriety to rhino conservation, and solidified himself as a Lansing icon. Now, it’s time for the next chapter in his story. To celebrate Jaali’s time at Potter Park and wish him well at his new home in California, we’re hosting a going-away party the weekend of Oct. 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Visit educations stations, sign a special farewell banner, and check out unique rhino enrichments occurring at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m. Don’t miss this final chance to see Lansing’s favorite black rhino in action!
