The Day of the Cotton Top Tamarin is a national holiday in Colombia, where the cotton top tamarins are found. On that day everyone is invited to celebrate and show their support for conservation conservation.

We have a fascinating family of cotton top tamarins, including mom, dad, offspring born in October 2018 and a pair of babies born in May 2019. We will celebrate on Wednesday, August 21, with special enrichments for the cotton tops and other South American species from 1:00-2:30 pm. Don’t miss it!

This event is included with your regular admission price. The zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
