Girl Scouts at the Zoo

Bring your troop to the zoo for a wild adventure filled with discovery, learning, and fun! Girl Scouts can participate in the Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey while exploring the zoo and learning how they can contribute to community science.

During this program, Girl Scouts will:

  • Discover how scientists study the environment and collect data
  • Practice observation skills
  • Explore real-world conservation challenges and how they can make a difference
  • Work toward their Think Like a Citizen Scientist Journey requirements
  • Receive a unique Potter Park Zoo patch!

Program Details

  • Programs are offered September – November and March – May
  • $20 per child | $15 per adult
  • For every 10 children, 1 chaperone is free
  • Maximum of 30 people
  • Programs include zoo admission, activities, guided learning experiences, and a Potter Park Zoo patch
