Leap into the world of snow leopard conservation with Paul Buzzard, whose dedication has taken him from the China Exploration and Research Society to roles such as Director of Conservation at the Detroit Zoo. Currently, Paul continues his impactful work as a regenerative farmer at Detroit Flight Path Farm and as a Conservation Technician with the Michigan Climate Smart Farms Project.
In this engaging talk, Paul will share insights on the importance of the Gaurishankar Conservation Area in Nepal for snow leopards, the growing overlap between snow leopards and common leopards, and the expansion of his project supported by Panthera NGO. He’ll also provide exciting updates on the Pallas’s cat project in Armenia, which now includes work with Persian leopards, mouflon sheep, and endangered newt species.
