The presentation will delve into the importance of sustainable palm oil\, including what palm oil is\, the products that contain it\, the significance of purchasing sustainably sourced palm oil\, and tips on using the PalmOil Scan app. This enlightening presentation will equip you with the knowledge to make informed choices and support wildlife conservation efforts. \nThe event timeline is as follows: \n6-7 p.m.: Take a leisurely stroll through the zoo and visit various tables dedicated to palm oil conservation and tiger conservation. Engage with our experts\, gather valuable insights\, and discover how small actions can make a big difference. \n7-7:30 p.m.: Gather in the Campground (or Safari Room in case of rain) to secure your spot for the movie. Get comfortable and settle in for an evening of entertainment and inspiration. \n7:30-7:45 p.m.: Our team member will deliver an engaging presentation about palm oil\, shedding light on its impact on wildlife and the importance of sustainable alternatives. \n8 p.m.: The much-anticipated movie “The Lorax” begins. Enjoy the captivating storyline while being immersed in the enchanting atmosphere of our zoo. The runtime is approximately 1 ½ hours\, and the event will conclude around 9:30 p.m. \nAdmission prices are as follows: \n\nAdults: $10\nChildren aged 3-17: $2\nChildren under 3: Free\n\nTo enhance your experience\, complimentary popcorn\, and water will be provided. Additionally\, we will offer refreshments for purchase\, including soda and candy that are sourced without palm oil or with sustainable palm oil\, aligning with our commitment to conservation-friendly choices. \nDon’t miss this unique opportunity to enjoy a movie under the stars\, learn about palm oil conservation\, and contribute to the well-being of tigers and other wildlife.
