Join wildlife photographer and LCC instructor, Wayne Pope, on photo-safari through Potter Park Zoo. During the workshop, you will learn tricks about being a nature photographer, including techniques for taking striking wildlife portraits and tips for working with your own personal camera.
The workshop includes a morning lecture, lunch break and a guided tour through the Zoo.

Wildlife photography expert, Wayne Pope, has over 35 years of experience behind the camera. He began his career capturing images of terraced rice patties and mist-covered mountains while stationed in Taiwan as an interpreter for the U.S. Army.
His work has appeared in: Michigan Out of Doors, Michigan’s Natural Resources, Woods and Water News, Sailing, Michigan Outdoor Journal, and Traverse Magazine.
Wayne was one of three featured photographers in the April 1997 edition of Traverse Magazine and his photo of a drumming grouse was featured on the cover in November 1995. His work has received numerous awards including first place recognition in the Lansing State Journal “Big MAC” photo contest in 1997.
